Apple-Berry Porridge

I can't take credit for this recipe, but it's so yummy I have to share it. I was in preparation for leading a cleanse and came across this last year in Adina Niemerow 's book, Super Cleanse . Adina is a bay area holistic chef and her roster of experience includes The French Laundry , Tree of Life Rejuvenation Center as well as being a holistic chef to Donna Karen, Ben Stiller and the late Steve Jobs to name a few. Her recipes are clean, simple and tasty. Just the way I like it. This "porridge" is incredibly delicious with just the right textures. For me, it makes for a perfect mid-morning or late afternoon snack. I drizzled a little warm coconut oil on top as I put coconut oil on everything. This recipe is for 2 servings, but I am pretty certain I finished it in 1... and then made more. :) Enjoy.
